We suggest checking your oxygen levels with a pulse oximeter whenever you feel symptoms during a Lift class.
Symptoms could include:
- Dizziness
- Light-headedness
- Shortness of breath
If your oxygen saturation is below 90%, stop and rest until your oxygen saturation levels rise above 90%. While resting, use pursed lip breathing and take rescue medication (if needed and as prescribed).
As always, we encourage you to talk to your doctor prior to starting any exercise program, including Lift Pulmonary Rehab.
